Lifeful Coordination and Management’s genuine independence, their detailed understanding of the NDIS, personal approach to planning and coordination and laser-like focus on supporting clients to grow their skills, achieve their goals and live to their potential, has led to them growing quickly and developing a strong reputation amongst clients, family members, the NDIA and their partners in the community.

This growth and reputation has now allowed them to entice Karen Burgess to their team as the new Executive Manager, Client Care. Karen is very well known to NDIS participants, family members providers and the NDIA as the founder of The Bubblegum Club Disability Support and of “NDIS Discussions” an influential and trustworthy source of knowledge and information for many thousands in the sector. Karen’s depth of understanding of how to best serve people in the sector has been honed over many years of front-line leadership roles with the Victorian Department of Human Services, Endeavour Foundation, Multicap and Skills Training Australia.

What is less well known about Karen is that she has also developed a state-of-the-art online app’, to assist people to self-manage their plans, and a training and development framework to underpin the qualifications of disability support workers.

LifeFul CEO Glenn Campbell said “We are delighted, and proud that an individual of Karen’s capability and integrity has chosen to become part of our team”.

Ms Burgess said that it was “…incredibly rare to have the opportunity to work with an organisation that is genuinely values led”. She said she is delighted to be part of a team with “…such a depth of capability and insight, that truly hears its clients, then does whatever it takes to support them reach their hopes, goals and individual potential.

Karen will be working closely with clients and families to help them to navigate the NDIS Planning and Review processes, and to ensure they are kept safe and able to maximise the outcomes from funding provided in their participant plans. Karen can be contacted on 0403 678 767.
