Glenn is a deeply experienced leader in the disability and health sectors. He has held six Chief Executive Officer roles including Carers Victoria - the state-wide voice for unpaid carers, Hepburn Health Service, Possability - the State’s largest disability provider, Family Planning Tasmania, Railway and Transport Private Health Fund Ltd and Hopewell Hospice. He also served in Senior Executive roles as National Operations Manager and State Senior Manager with MBF - now BUPA and as General Manager with Mayne Health.

Glenn’s professional qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from MGSM, Bachelor of Business Degree (Accounting) University Of Western Sydney, Australian Society of CPAs Associate Program and the Company Directors Course Diploma from Australian Institute of Company Directors (G.A.I.C.D.)

His Board roles have included National Disability Services, Football Federation Tasmania, Tasmanian Council of Social Services (TasCOSS) and Mental Health Carers – ARAFMI. He has been a fierce and effective advocate for people with disability and disadvantaged groups and a regular presenter at industry forums.

Glenn is passionate about providing a voice to those unable to speak for themselves, and growing the skills and confidence of those who can.

Gemma Houston

Gemma is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Clinical Educator with over twelve years’ experience as a clinician and educator. Her areas of specialisation include Injury Rehabilitation, Chronic and Lifestyle Disease, Clinical Education, Indigenous Health and Vocational Assessment and Rehabilitation.

Gemma's formal qualifications include a Master of Applied Science (Exercise Rehabilitation) and Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education from Victoria University, a Bachelor of Science (Health and Sports Science) (Honours) from University NSW, Certificate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Competence, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She is also currently studying a Master of Health Management at UNSW.

Gemma’s professional experience includes delivery of clinical Exercise Physiology services to clients around Melbourne, clinical education to allied health, nursing and medical staff in hospital settings, university lecturing and clinical supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, management of a national health service delivery team supporting employment services, and sports rehabilitation.

In addition to her professional ventures, Gemma is an active member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia, and has held the roles of Chair, Secretary and Private Practice Portfolio within the Victorian Chapter. She is a mentor to junior clinicians, and also sits on the University course Accreditation Appeals committee.

Gemma is passionate about using her clinical skills and educational capabilities to ensure the ideal match of supports and capacity building to meet the goals of all of her clients.

 

Judith McKindley-Hodge

We are incredibly fortunate to have Jude on Board as our Leader, Coach, Mentor and Quality Assurance in our Occupation Therapy practice.

Jude works in private practice in  OT working with all ages and disability categories. Areas of specialisation include: Sensory Assessment and Intervention for adults, Ergonomic OH&S consultancy and training, home modifications and equipment and vocational and recreational exploration.

Jude previously worked with:

CRS Australia providing work related vocational rehabilitation for learning disorders, psychiatric conditions, acquired brain injury and a wide variety of physical disabilities.

Victorian Psychiatric Service as Senior Clinician and Manger. This involved multi-disciplinary team interventions for inpatient and community care including responsibility for quality assurance and Occupational Health and Safety of staff and

Mt Alexander Hospital, Castlemaine as an Occupational Therapist in Domiciliary and orthopaedic/ neurological rehabilitation.

Jude holds a Bachelor of  Applied Science, Occupational Therapy (Lincoln Institute, Melbourne), Master of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) University of South Australia, Master of Ergonomics ,Safety and Health (La Trobe University) along with training in group therapy, working with challenging clients, sensory modulation assessment, sensory diet intervention and M.O.R.E therapy provision.

She maintains Registration as an Occupational Therapist with APRHA, Accreditation for equipment prescription under the State Wide Equipment Program and Accreditation for Psychological Strategy Intervention under the Medicare, Better Access to Mental Health Initiative.

Jude has a keen interest in research most recently including: Techniques of sensory modulation for those with acquired brain injury, developmental disorders, psychiatric conditions and chronic pain disorders; Use of sensory intervention to control feeling states and behaviour response; Assessment and Interventions for emotional pain for individuals with psycho-social disorders and social skills training to promote interpersonal effectiveness,

Nicole Gadd

Our Commercial Services Officer, Nicole makes sure our Plan Management clients receive the most professional service in the business. She ensures that the providers our clients have selected to deliver their services, are paid promptly and accurately.

Nicole is well qualified and experienced in all matters Accounting. And is an expert with the NDIS portal and what is allowable as a claim. Before joining us, Nicole operated her own business, Nourished Business Solutions, providing financial services, information and advice to her small business clients. This followed a stint as the Senior BAS Agent for Meticulously Managed Bookkeeping Services. Her experience is underpinned by a Certificate IV in Small Business and a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.

Nicole’s early career was as a chef and front office leader, including a stint at Cliffy’s Emporium in Daylesford. Nicole has, more recently, completed a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing, with Honours, at Federation University Ballarat.

To relax, Nicole loves an occasional bash at badminton, tasting the best of Ballarat’s vibrant restaurant scene, knitting and styling and making her own clothing.
